World of Nukes beginner guide for Roblox: how the island, missile and defense loop works, what to do in your first hour, and the mistakes to avoid.

5 min readLast checked Sources

This World of Nukes beginner guide explains how the Roblox game works and what to do in your first hour. It is a multiplayer island game: you start with a tiny camp, build it into a superpower, and fire missiles at other players while keeping your own island alive. Everything here was checked on October 31, 2026, and the game is only a month old, so some details are still unpublished.

What World of Nukes is

World of Nukes is a Roblox simulation and tycoon game from the group Build. Defend. Nuke. It is a video game about building an island and trading strikes with other players, not about real-world nuclear arsenals. Servers hold up to 7 players, so every match is a small group of rival islands.

The game description promises five things: growing your country, placing missiles and firing them, flying jets and commanding warships, building anti-air and shields, and unlocking wonders and the Doomsday Device. It is free to play, with a few optional passes.

World of Nukes beginner guide: your first hour

  1. Finish the tutorial. Code sites report that codes only unlock after it is done, so do not skip it.
  2. Redeem the current code. Open the three-line menu at the top right, then CODES, then REDEEM. Code sites report a reward of 100K Cash and 5 Viper Missiles; see the World of Nukes codes page for the status.
  3. Spend your first Cash on buildings. Income buildings come before weapons, because Cash is what pays for everything else. The how to make money in World of Nukes guide covers earning in detail.
  4. Place your first missile. Pick a target and fire. The reward missiles are a free way to learn the controls; World of Nukes missiles lists what is known about them.
  5. Add defense before you grow. Anti-air and shields are what keep an island alive. See how to defend in World of Nukes.

No source has published building prices or an unlock order yet, so check each cost in the shop before you buy. We will add a table when numbers appear.

How to play: build, strike, defend

For anyone asking how to play World of Nukes, the loop has three parts. You build an island that earns Cash. You place missiles, choose a target and fire, and you can also fly jets or send warships. You defend with anti-air and shields, because the other players are doing the same to you.

Gameplay videos suggest that destroying things pays Cash, and that wars between islands are the main way to make money. Those are early player videos with automatic captions, so treat them as a guide to the feel of the game rather than hard rules. Videos also show players allying or making peace with each other, but how that works is not confirmed.

Beginner tips

These World of Nukes beginner guide tips come from the official description and early player videos.

  • Like the game and join the group. The game description offers free rewards for both. What the rewards are has not been published, and the group itself is listed on our World of Nukes Discord and official links page.
  • Do not get rich and undefended. A player in a gameplay video said the whole server goes after the richest island. A big Cash pile with no defense is a target.
  • Remember offline earnings. The game keeps earning while you are away, and the Offline Tycoon pass doubles that and sets a 24-hour cap.
  • Check the passes before spending Robux. There are four, from 150 to 250 Robux. Our World of Nukes gamepasses page compares them, and none is needed to play.
  • Watch for changes. The developer does not publish patch notes, so we track changes on the World of Nukes updates page.

For everything else, the World of Nukes wiki home page and the full World of Nukes guides list are the best starting points.
